October 18th, 2018 - January 18th, 2019
In light of the current political and social landscape the EMBASSY committee are in the process of self reflection – reorganising, re-archiving and reimagining the gallery program and space, in order to better serve our members base, our community and our committee.
EMBASSY has invited Daniel Twist to contribute toward our discussion and application of ideas through a residency style project. Daniel’s work considers sociality, care, discourse, spatial arrangement, and archival structure. We look forward to working with and supporting him to produce a functional art object for the gallery, which will form part of our permanent collection, as well as a public workshop. EMBASSY sees the residency as an opportunity to build meaningful dialogue with and facilitate the research and practice of emerging artists.
This project will run until early 2019.
