An exhibition of new work by Steven Cairns.

Illustrating a Point brings together a fractured narrative of found and stock imagery and sound, collaged together in an installation that encompasses sculpture, audio and video. Cairns’ work focuses on ideas of translation, social and cultural structures, and methods of representation. Illustrating a Point focuses on ideas of objectivity and commodification in social space and their mirroring in exhibition design.
