Taking place throughout the Royal Botanic Gardens, the workshop will involve individual and group contemplation through movement and sound, considering a series of questions.

The session will culminate in an audio directed movement session facilitated by Claricia on the lawn in front of the recently rebuilt Botanic Cottage. Following the workshop there will be tea/coffee and chat.

For the audio element of the workshop there will be a downloadable track that we will make available on Saturday. You will need to download this onto your phone/mp3/ listening device of your choice, and bring headphones, or just get in touch if you would like any help or need to borrow anything.

We will meet at the East Gate, 20 Inverleith Row at 11am, no booking necessary and all ages, levels and abilities welcome. Please get in touch if you have any access requirements.

Weather warning: this workshop will be happening out of doors, throughout the grounds of the gardens so you might need water proofs!

Claricia Kruithof is a Netherlands-Indonesian performer, artist and producer, recently made Associate Artist with Dance Base under mentorship of Bush Hartshorn. She graduated from Edinburgh College/Northumbria University in 2009 before undertaking the Dance Base DEBS bursary under mentorship of Christine Devaney.
