The term ‘Professionalism’ has become an  amorphous ideological doctrine that permeates through artistic practice at many levels. The normalization of the cult of ‘Professionalism’ has begun to inflect our education, identities, actions and artistic activities. Vitae sought to bring works together works that offer modes of resistance and alternative approaches to deconstructing the pervasive sheen of ‘Professionalism’.
