The EMBASSY members show is finally back and is thrilled to announce the next Open Call for submissions to our annual Members Show 2022:

THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER ON THE SA-LAWN

The garden has become a bit overgrown since our last members show, but we got out the old rusty lawnmower and restored our basement floor to fluorescent, astroturf perfection. 

Breathe in the fresh air of our plastic pastures and join us in flourishing in our spring affirmations: 

• My life is full of freshness & vitality!
• My work always gets accepted into shows!
• I am not in competition with my friends!

As always the EMBASSY Members Show is a fantastic all-embracing opportunity to test as well as showcase your work, in the company of a diverse, friendly and supportive audience, to celebrate your practise, and to support the continued running of EMBASSY. Anything you wish to showcase is welcome: Completed or work in progress finished, unfinished, orchestrated or spontaneous. 

Work in ALL MEDIA will be accepted! 

Current members may submit one artwork for exhibition (+ one performance proposal) as part of their annual membership. New or lapsed members can join or renew their membership of EMBASSY for £15 online at https://www.embassygallery.org/membership/

There will be a dedicated patch of astroturf for our open stage, and we invite submissions for performances of live sound, music, spoken word and performance.

These could be things that require a dedicated audience or more durational happenings to take place within the exhibition over the course of the evening. We ask that performances are kept under 15 minutes in length.

For installations and work larger than 2m in any direction when installed, please send a short description of the work and dimensions to info@embassygallery.org to discuss the possibility of installing it in the space by April 17th.

Physical works must be submitted via DROP-OFF to EMBASSY Gallery at 10b Broughton Street Lane (EH1 3LY) on the following days: 

April 11th:10-14pm 

April 17th: 12-18:00pm 

Digital works may be submitted via Wetransfer as downloadable files to info@embassygallery.org OR on USB delivered in person during the physical work drop of times listed above.

If you wish to perform please send outlines of your plans to info@embassygallery.org by April 17th. These should include a short description of the work you wish to present live, details of duration and any technical requirements.
